I’m Emily Mahaney. I’m a digital media leader with 15+ years translating editorial vision into audience, brand and revenue growth at top media brands, start-ups and platforms.

Most recently, I served as an Editorial Director at Yahoo News, where I directed the transformation of the newsletter portfolio. Previously, I worked as an Executive Producer for The Meteor, a mission-driven media startup, where I led the brand's flagship conference, while consulting for non-media brands on content strategy.

Earlier in my career, I was Chief Content Officer at Katie Couric Media, where I launched and scaled new editorial products, Deputy Editor at Damn Joan, a short-lived experimental new media brand, and Features Director at Glamour, where I produced top-performing exclusives and directed editorial programming for Women of the Year Live.

I hold a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from Iowa State University, and I live in Brooklyn, New York.
